My Name is Anna Louise Scott and I was born in Consett, County Durham, north east England. I started playing golf at 14 years old, inspired by my grandparents. Both of my grandparents are good golfers with single figure handicaps and played competitively at Consett Golf Club. Playing regularly at Consett improved my handicap quickly, through which I represented both County Durham and England. After completing my A levels at age 18 I went to Georgia State University on a golf scholarship, where I achieved my bachelor degree in sport journalism. Playing golf for County Durham, England and Georgia State University has taken me all over the world. After university I turned professional and won my card on the LPGA Symetra tour. In 2013 I had my Ladies European Tour card but an injury prevented me from taking full advantage of the opportunity.
Forced to take a few steps backward, I realised that I had to build up some muscular strength to prevent injuries and to be able to compete long term. It meant I needed to make some changes in my life and remain patient. I'm now living in Münster, Germany and have a perfect team of professionals surrounding me. I've access to good training facilities, a challenging golf course, a fantastic team and partners supporting me getting back into the golf business. My dreams are more alive than ever and I'm on a mission to keep improving step by step. I hope you enjoy following me on my journey, the support is greatly appreciated.
